About This Project
The roof system used for the Limavady PFS project consisted of:- ARKzip 65/400 in 0.9mm stucco aluminium 290mm non-combustible insulation ARKbar spacer Vapour control layer/ air barrier membrane ARKdeck 158 in 0.88mm steel with a white polyester finish. 17.5m waveform shaped ARKzip standing seam sheets were smooth curved in the factory to 20m concave/ 30m convex radii and joined at the ridge on site using the ARKzip sealed-ridge lap detail. The structural liner was ARKdeck structural deck, laid across falls with spans up to 6.2m between rafters providing a working platform and supporting the roof covering. ARKdeck is self finished with a RAL9002 off white polyester paint system. The class A1 non-combustible insulation was installed with a 10% compression and provides a U value of 0.15W/m2K
